Frequently Asked Questions

Do your ottoman beds include gas-lift pistons and floor base? +

Yes. All Royal Rest ottoman beds come equipped with heavy-duty gas-lift hydraulic pistons capable of lifting mattresses up to 80kg effortlessly. The package also includes a protective internal base board to keep your belongings clean and off the carpet.

How does Cash on Delivery (COD) work for beds? +

You place your order online and select "Cash on Delivery" at checkout. We craft your bed in our Yorkshire workshop and arrange a 2-man delivery window. Once your bed is placed in your room of choice and you inspect the fabric and craftsmanship, you hand the exact cash amount to our delivery driver.

Will the headboard and bed frame fit up standard UK stairs? +

Yes. Our beds are purposefully engineered with modular dimensions. Wingback and panel headboards are packaged with optimized clearance, and the bed bases arrive in two split sections (for Double, King, and Super King) to easily navigate narrow hallways, turns, and staircases.

What mattress sizes fit your frames? +

Our frames are precision-crafted to standard UK mattress dimensions: Single (90x190cm / 3ft), Small Double (120x190cm / 4ft), Double (135x190cm / 4ft6), King Size (150x200cm / 5ft), and Super King (180x200cm / 6ft).
